Seattle WA, April 21, 2021 – 3DX Industries Inc. (DDDX) (the “Company” or “3DX”), a state of the art additive manufacturer specializing in 3D Metal Printing, announced today it will be attending the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) Conference in Orlando, Florida from Sun, May 2, 2021 to Thu, May 6, 2021.
VP of East Coast Operation, Nicholas Coriano stated, "The AMUG Conference gives us a chance to showcase the current potential of 3DX Industries to suppliers, partners, and other industry participants, all under one roof.”
The Additive Manufacturing Users Group’s origins date back to the early 1990s when the founding industry users group was called 3D Systems North American Stereolithography Users Group, a users group solely focused on the advancement of stereolithography (SL) use with the owners and operators of 3D Systems’ equipment. Today, AMUG educates and supports users of all additive manufacturing technologies. The primary charter of the group remains the same, but its members are much more diversified, global and focused in advancing additive manufacturing technology for rapid manufacturing and prototyping. Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) Conference brings together engineers, designers, managers, and educators from around the world to share expertise, best practices, challenges, and application developments in additive manufacturing.
"The AMUG Conference is the perfect place to continue our aggressive growth strategy at 3DX Industries Inc.," stated Roger Janssen, CEO and Chairman of 3DX Industries, Inc. "3DX Industries is seeking top talent and we always want to be at the cutting edge of any additive manufacturing technologies. The AMUG Conference not only gives us the ability to network with industry participants, but allows us to learn about new industry practices that may be able to give the company additional competitive advantages in the marketplace.”
The AMUG Conference, which spans over 5 days, includes Keynote presentations, Technical sessions, Panel discussions, Training labs, Workshops/hands-on training, Technical competition, Innovators Showcase and the AMUGexpo
About the Company: 3DX Industries, Inc. is focused on the additive metal manufacturing segment within the manufacturing industry. 3DX has the capability of manufacturing a wide variety of products using its 3D metal printing system, 3D plastic printing as well as more traditional methods of precision manufacturing. 3DX offers additive and traditional manufacturing services as well as product design, engineering and assembly services to its customers.
About Binder Jet: 3DX uses an additive manufacturing process, otherwise known as three-dimensional printing which materializes an object—or mold for an object—layer by layer out of powdered material, a binding agent and a digital file. The process is also referred to as Binder Jetting Technology. Binder Jetting is a powder bed process, where a binder is used to selectively ‘print’ the desired part shape by adhesively joining the metal particles. After the jetting process, the green part is sintered in a furnace to burn off the binder and then an infiltrant, typically bronze or copper, is melted and drawn into the part to fill in the remaining spaces within the sintered metal powder skeleton to create a dense component. The resulting parts combine properties from both the metal powder and the infiltrant.
